White sox sweep blue jays for first time in decade
Chicago's White Sox delivered a shutout 3-0 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, completing their first three-game sweep of the team in a decade.

Strong pitching and timely hits seal the deal
Behind six solid innings from starter Davis Martin, who struck out six and walked just two, the White Sox offense provided all the support needed. An RBI triple from Miguel Vargas in the first inning kicked things off, while Lenyn Sosa and Austin Hays each drove in a run later on to secure the win.
For Martin, it was his second consecutive sharp start, further solidifying his spot in the rotation. The 25-year-old earned his second win of the season, improving to 2-0.
Chicago's bullpen was equally impressive, with Chris Murphy earning his first save of the season and second of his career. He worked around a walk in the ninth inning to shut the door on the Blue Jays.
On the other side, Toronto's ace Eric Lauer struggled, allowing two runs and three hits in just two innings. The AL champion Blue Jays were shut out for the first time this season, dropping their fourth straight game.
In a rare bright spot for the Jays, catcher Brandon Valenzuela made his major league debut, singling in his first at-bat. Meanwhile, the White Sox welcomed rookie shortstop Tanner Murray, who made his debut with a highlight-reel play, ranging to his left to snag a grounder and throwing out the runner at first.
