East Side will face either the New England or Metro region team on Friday night in the United States bracket of the tournament. Manager Bob Hennessey expressed the whirlwind experience since their regional win, stating they've been on the road for nearly two weeks, relying heavily on family support.

One of the team's standout players is Bob's son, Ryan Hennessey, who is thoroughly enjoying the experience. "I just wanna have fun with my friends and try to win baseball games to try and get that championship, so we can play in front of a huge crowd and try to win the whole thing," Ryan said.

Bob Hennessey emphasized the team's motto of taking "one game at a time," focusing on winning each inning rather than looking ahead. The squad is also making the most of meeting players from around the globe, exchanging pins and mementos for future memories.
