Joshua to face fury in november, prenga in july

British boxing's biggest showdown is finally on the horizon as Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed to face each other in a blockbuster bout expected to take place in November.

Joshua will first step back into the ring on July 25, taking on Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 32-year-old Briton has been out of action since a car crash in Nigeria in December that claimed the lives of two close friends.

Joshua's last meaningful fight was against Daniel Dubois in 2020 when he was counted out in the fifth round. He underwent elbow surgery and had a shoulder injury, preventing a return until his knockout victory over YouTube star Jake Paul in March.
