Cyclist killed in boulder county crash – investigation ongoing

According to BCSO, the vehicle passed the cyclists, who continued down the road. Shortly after, one of the cyclists realized he’d lost contact. He circled back, spotting a damaged bicycle light 50 feet down the embankment.

First responders immediately began resuscitation efforts, but the injured man succumbed to his injuries at the location. Authorities closed Gold Run Road for approximately eight hours while the investigation unfolded.
