Influencer dies after being struck by car in london

A 32-year-old Social Mediainfluencer has died six days after being hit by a car outside a nightclub in London's Soho district.

Klaudia Zakrzewska, known online as Klaudiaglam, was pronounced dead on Saturday, six days after the incident. She had suffered severe injuries when a Mercedes struck her and other pedestrians at around 4:30am on 19 April.

Carrington accused of attempted murder

Gabrielle Carrington, a 29-year-old from Manchester, has been charged with attempted murder, dangerous driving, and being nearly twice the legal drink-drive limit.

Carrington, a former X Factor contestant, appeared in court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody to face trial at the Old Bailey on 19 May.

Zakrzewska's death will see the attempted murder charge against Carrington upgraded to murder, police said.

The investigation, led by Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, is ongoing and police are urging the public not to share graphic footage of the incident.

A GoFundMe page set up for Zakrzewska's treatment and her family's legal fees has raised nearly £18,000.
