Mild temperatures expected for twin cities this week

A gentle start to the week is in store for the Twin Cities, with mild conditions prevailing through Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures on the rise

Highs will gradually climb, reaching the mid-50s on Tuesday and surging into the 60s by Wednesday, with some areas in southern Minnesota potentially seeing temperatures in the 70s.

A weak front will slide through the region overnight Wednesday into Thursday, bringing a slight chance of brief showers. However, the passage of the front will not drastically alter the overall warm trend.

As the week draws to a close, temperatures will take a slight dip, falling back into the 40s by Thursday and Friday. The weekend looks quiet and mild, with highs rebounding into the 50s once more.
