Teen's body found in singer's car months after fatal stabbing

Prosecutors say the 18-year-old singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, brutally stabbed Hernandez last April to silence her about their sexual relationship, which began when she was just 13. Burke has pleaded not guilty to capital murder and other charges.

Los Angeles police discovered Hernandez's remains in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to Burke in September, five months after prosecutors allege the fatal stabbing occurred. Forensic experts faced challenges in determining the exact time of death due to the body's degraded state.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office previously concluded Hernandez died from multiple penetrating injuries. On Friday, the autopsy report was further detailed by Dr. Grant Ho, who identified two stab wounds - one in her abdomen that damaged her liver and another in her left chest that broke her ribs.
