North texas braces for wild weather, easter relief on horizon
A blustery Saturday morning greeted North Texans, the remnants of a powerful cold front bringing lightning, thunder, and heavy rain. The First Alert Weather Day, thankfully, mostly spared Friday’s relative calm, but left a lingering chill and a reminder of nature’s unpredictable hand.

East texas bears the brunt as rain tapers off
The most intense activity is currently pushing eastward into East Texas, a consequence of the overnight frontal passage. But the news isn’t all gloom; the pattern is expected to shift considerably by this afternoon. Most areas will see a tapering off of the rain, giving way to breezy and noticeably cooler conditions.
High temperatures are projected to reach around 74 degrees in the morning, a fleeting warmth before a significant dip into the 50s. However, a rebound into the 60s is anticipated by late afternoon, offering a welcome respite from the earlier chill. The data reveals a rapid temperature fluctuation, characteristic of these dynamic systems.
