A fatal shooting early Sunday morning has Dallas police investigating a homicide on South Buckner Boulevard.

Man found dead at scene, investigators seeking witnesses

Officers were called to the area near Bruton Road around 2:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of an unidentified male, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

While authorities have yet to release the victim's name, the Dallas Police Department has confirmed the incident is being treated as a homicide. Detectives are now canvassing the neighborhood, reviewing surveillance footage, and interviewing potential witnesses in a bid to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
